It Has Been A While.

It has been a while since I have sat down and actually written anything.

Mostly because I have found myself being quite reflective lately.

It has been during these past few weeks that I have come upon some interesting insights.

Be kind to yourself.

No one will be harder on you, than we tend to be on ourselves.

Help yourself.

No one will do anything as well as you can do for yourself.

Care about yourself.

No one will care about your wellbeing as much as you will.

Love yourself.

Only you know your own love language best.

You can be a priority.

It is ok to put yourself first.

Without you, the "Captain", the ship will sink, remember that.

Forgive yourself.

We are all bound to make mistakes, but if we can't forgive ourselves, no one will.

Be free with yourself.

Don't be afraid to be quirky, funny, smart, sassy, outspoken, fierce, fearless, angry, vulnerable, sad, happy, or open.

Don't let society clip your wings, or your thoughts, aspirations, or your emotions.

Be arrogantly, unapologetic about yourself, with unbounding confidence.

And lest we forget, the minute you allow yourself to become defined, you have just limited yourself.

So take care, literally.

Today, and everyday.

Xoxo,

C,
