Pulling the Thread.

After being with someone for so long, we think we know them.

Then one day you notice a loose thread. Then you start to pull the unsecured thread on the sweater, and next thing you know you are left with a pile of yarn.

A big messy enormous pile of yarn.

And you realize you have no clue what you were dealing with, a huge part of you wishing maybe you hadn't pulled. Wishing you could put the thread back.

However, everything happens for a reason.

So now you have a chaotic pile of yarn.

And you realize you don't know how to sew.

You aren't even sure you want to sew.

You find yourself wondering if you were to learn, would you knit the same sweater?

You quickly realize you would absolutely NOT knit the same sweater.

You begin to realize you pulled because you were meant to. You were meant to unravel. Come undone. So that a better version would come together.

Absolutely.

Xoxo,

C.
