Burning.

I was watching the Netflix series, Bridgerton, the other day when I became mesmerized. It was a scene in which the two main characters profess their love for each other. The male lead stated that he burned for his new wife.

I found that analogy gorgeous.

All love should burn. Light us up. Set us on fire. With passion, with desire, with hope, with expectations.

To burn for someone.

To long for them to the point of hurting, just to be around them, feeling your heart ache when they are away.

To be ablaze with cravings.

Insatiable. Lust. Thirst.

The heart knows 1,000 ways to speak.

To burn, become engulfed, that is the epitome of love. Allowing yourself to become blazing with thoughts, feelings, yearning, craving.

Everyone who feels true love, burns.

Xoxo,

C.
