Kids.
We have all been kids.
We have all suffered through our parents.
Their 'know it all' spirits, and attitudes and advice.
The 'I told ya so's'
Ugh.
Exhausting.
Being a kid is so hard.
BUT!
Just wait.
Then, if you want to, or are lucky enough, YOU become a parent.
You know and knew how to be a kid, but to be an adult?
To PARENT?!
Yeah, no.
Being a parent and being raised by one?
Two totally different things.
Still trying to navigate that part.
I will say that all the criticism I shared with my parents on their job?
Not to worry.
Being paid back 1 million percent.
I just hope I live long enough to criticize my own cherubs on their newly assigned role once they achieve it, if they want to.
And man is parenthood an acheievement; one not for the weak.
That said, I will forever show up, complain, and discipline the best kids I could have ever asked for.
I will also be waiting for their therapy bill.
Memories?
Right?
Just kidding they will have to pay their own therapy bills because they forgot to empty the dishwasher.
Suckers!
Yep Mom still always have an Ace up her sleeve.
Love you!
Xoxo,
C.
